We are happy to announce the final of a series of digital workshops for seniors as part of the ‘Intergenerational School’ project!
During the meetings, young people actively supported seniors in exploring the world of modern technology. Participants learned skills such as basic computer skills, setting up an e-mail, navigating safely online and virtual travel.
The workshop not only provided new knowledge, but also strengthened intergenerational bonds. The young learned patience and empathy, while the seniors found out that technology can be friendly and accessible to everyone.
One participant summed up the atmosphere of the meetings beautifully:
‘Sir, but these people are cool, so loving, can we meet like this more often?’
Although the workshops have come to an end, their energy and the relationships established will continue! We are already planning further intergenerational initiatives, to which we warmly invite you.
