Bees have moved into Campus Bemke!

We are delighted to announce the opening of an apiary on the Bemke Campus! Together with Łysoń and thanks to the support of the Podziękuj Pszczole and Centrum Apilandia initiatives, we have welcomed new, extremely important residents to our campus – bees!

Ten beehives have been set up on the Farmlab meadow, which will not only be home to bees, but also a unique place for education and encounters with nature. To mark the occasion, we organised a special day for Bemke School students – full of learning, fun and tasting honey delicacies.

Educators and beekeepers conducted workshops during which the children made their own beeswax candles, tasted different types of honey and took part in outdoor games and activities. However, the biggest attraction was meeting the bees – dressed in special beekeeping suits, the students visited the hives and looked inside, learning about the life of bees and the process of honey production.

We are proud to contribute to the protection of bees and the popularisation of knowledge about their extraordinary world.

We can’t wait for the first honey harvest from our campus meadow!
