Campus

The Campus Bemke Foundation was created through an agreement between the TDJ Foundation and the Pallottine priests.

Campus is a long-term project, built with the next generation in mind. We are committed to an evolutionary development so that we develop this unique space step by step.

All facilities will be open for use by the inhabitants of Wadowice and the surrounding area. The existing church run by the Pallottine priests will continue its activities with a focus on mutual synergy.

We want to develop a place rooted in history and at the same time welcoming, open to all, modern and dialogue-oriented.

How did this happen?

It all started with a dream. A dream of a place where everyone has access to the best education. Of a welcoming space in which to grow. About an environment that will inspire education and educate how to inspire others. About an all-encompassing campus – along the lines of places that have so far only been accessible abroad and to the few.

This dream was shared by the  TDJ Foundation – which supports the education of children and young people – with the Polish Pallottines of Klecza Dolna in 2020.

The location was no coincidence – it grew out of a similar idea to serve others.

Why Campus Bemke?

We were inspired by the figure of Fr Leon Bemke – a Pallottine, former pupil and then principal of the Collegium Marianum on Kopiec, chaplain to the Polish military at Westerplatte in 1939, chaplain to the Polish diaspora in France, Rome and the USA, a courageous man, dedicated to serving others, an educator.

Our team

We have different backgrounds in developing educational projects to support local communities, but one goal - the desire to build an extraordinary place where modern education and all-round development is prioritised.

Social Council

The long and ambitious process of establishing the Bemke Campus is accompanied by a Social Council. To participate in the Council, we aim to include people who know our local community inside out.
