Rules for the processing of personal data of Project Participants

The Campus Bemke Foundation, out of concern for the security, respect and fulfilment of the rights of individuals, with particular regard to the right to privacy, presents this policy explaining the principles of application, collection and processing of personal data.

The Campus Bemke Foundation follows the following guidelines when processing personal data, ensuring the fairness and transparency of the processing, as well as the smooth exercise of the rights of data subjects.

1. 1. Principles regarding the processing of personal data:

  • ‘processed lawfully fairly and transparently’.
  • ‘collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a way incompatible with those purposes’,
  • ‘adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes, i.e. data minimisation’,
  • ‘correct and updated as necessary’,
  • ‘kept in a form which permits identification of the data subject for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data are processed’,
  • ‘processed in a manner that ensures adequate security of personal data: protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage by means of appropriate technical and organisational measures’.

2. Lawfulness of processing:

  • the data subject has consented to the processing of his/her personal data for one or more specified purposes;
  • the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;
  • processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation incumbent on the controller;
  • processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person;
  • processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller;
  • processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child.

What data we collect about you

  • Data collected during recruitment.
  • Data of contractors and employees of contractors collected during the negotiation and execution of contracts.
  • Data of persons using the services provided by Campus Bemke.
  • Data of persons benefiting from social projects and public benefit tasks carried out by our Foundation.
  • Contact data to respond to enquiries and correspondence.
  • Data of donors, stakeholders and people involved in building the Campus Bemke project.
  • Data necessary for the implementation of volunteering.
  • Data of persons using the Campus premises to ensure physical and organisational security.
  • Images of individuals who have given their consent to dissemination.

If you are under the age of 16, we will ask your legal guardian for consent.

Purpose of data processing
Your personal data acquired in connection with the use of our proposed projects will be processed for the following purposes:

  • recruitment and cooperation,
  • implementation of concluded contracts,
  • Direct marketing,
  • responding to enquiries and correspondence,
  • implementation of social projects and public benefit tasks,
  • building relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and supporters of the Campus Bemke Foundation,
  • implementing voluntary work,
  • fulfilling statutory objectives,
  • ensuring physical and organisational safety,
  • responding to letters and requests,
  • archiving
  • fulfilling our legal obligations,
  • maintaining social media.

Legal basis for processing

  • the data subject has given his or her consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specified purposes;
  • processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;

Your personal data will not be processed by automated means, including profiling.

Period of storage of your personal data
The period for which your personal data is processed depends on the purpose for which the data is processed. The period for which your personal data will be stored is calculated based on the following criteria:

  • legal provisions that may oblige the Campus Bemke Foundation to process the data for a certain period of time,
  • the period that is necessary to protect the interests of the controller,
  • the period that is necessary for the performance of contracts, and the provision of services by the Campus Bemke Foundation, to provide the necessary service to Project Participants and persons using the Campus premises,
  • statute of limitations for claims,
  • the period for which consent has been granted.

Recipients of your data
Your data may be passed on to:

  • IT service providers,
  • postal and courier services,
  • delivery companies,
  • security companies
  • entities entitled to receive Personal Data on the basis of the law,
  • consulting companies, including law firms,
  • Funders of the Campus Bemke Foundation.

Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area
Your personal data will not be transferred to a third country or international organisation.

Your rights in relation to data processing
You have the right to:

  • access to the content of your personal data,
  • their rectification (amendment, completion),
  • restriction of their processing or erasure,
  • to portability of the personal data you have provided to us, i.e. to receive this personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and you have the right to have this data sent to another controller; if technically possible you have the right to request that your personal data be sent by us directly to another controller,
  • to object to further processing of your personal data.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your data carried out on the basis of the consent given before its withdrawal.

If you have doubts about the correctness of the processing of your personal data by the Campus Bemke Foundation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

  6. Recipients of the data may be IT service providers, consultants and Funders.
  7. You have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability.
  8. The provision of data is voluntary but necessary for the handling of the correspondence received.
  9. We inform you that you have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

  7. The data selected may be made available to the following entities: law firms, bailiffs, insurance companies, software providers, technical support providers, Funders.
  8. The provision of data is voluntary, but necessary in order to take part in the purchasing process and/or to conclude and perform a contract or order.
  9. We inform you that you have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

1. The operator of the Website is the Campus Bemke Foundation.
The Website performs the functions of obtaining information about users and their behaviour in the following ways:

  1. Through the voluntary information entered in the forms.
  2. By storing cookies (so-called ‘cookies’) in the end devices.
  3. Through the collection of web server logs.

2. Information in forms.

  1. The service collects information voluntarily entered by the user.
  2. The service may also record information about the connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).
  3. The data in the form are not made available to third parties otherwise.
  4. Data given in the form may constitute a collection of potential clients, registered by the Operator of the Service in the register kept by the General Inspector for Personal Data Protection.

3. Information on cookies.

  1. The website uses cookies.
  2. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored in the Service User’s terminal equipment and are intended for use on the Website. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the terminal equipment and a unique number.
  3. The Service operator is the entity placing and accessing cookies on the Service User’s terminal equipment.
  4. Cookies are used for the following purposes:
    1. creating statistics which help to understand how Service Users use websites, which enables improving their structure and content;

4. Server logs.

  1. Information about certain user behavior is subject to logging at the server layer. This data is used exclusively for the administration of the site and to ensure the most efficient operation of the provided hosting services.
  2. Viewed resources are identified by URLs. In addition, the record may be subject to:
    1. time of arrival of the request,
    2. time of sending the response,
    3. the name of the client station identification implemented by the HTTP protocol,
    4. information about errors that occurred during the execution of HTTP transactions,
    5. URL address of the page previously visited by the user (referer link) in case the user accessed the Website through a link,
    6. information about the user’s browser,
    7. IP address information.
  3. The above data are not associated with specific browsers.

I. GOOGLE ANALYTICS
In order to analyze user behavior, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). Google anonymizes your IP address before analyzing your online behavior.

Google has been certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, which provides a guarantee of compliance with European privacy legislation.

Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your computer to analyze how you use the website. The cookies used by Google Analytics may be temporary or permanent files, whose maximum validity generally does not exceed two years. The information produced by the cookies regarding your use of the website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Due to the IP anonymization we have activated, your IP address is truncated within the member states of the European Union or in other countries that are party to the European Economic Area agreement before being transferred to a Google server in the USA. Only in exceptional cases beyond our control is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. As part of our order, Google will use the above information to evaluate the use of our website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services related to website and Internet use. II. DEMOGRAPHIC DATA IN GOOGLE ANALYTICS
This website uses a feature of Google Analytics called “demographic data”. This allows you to create reports that contain information about the age, gender and interests of the person using the website. This data comes from Google’s personalized advertising and from information about users from third-party providers. This data cannot be attributed to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the display settings in your Google account or generally block the collection of data by Google Analytics.

III. FACEBOOK PIXEL
We use the Facebook pixel of Facebook Inc. on our websites, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA to monitor conversions. It allows us to identify users of the site who were redirected to it after clicking on a Facebook banner.

The data collected on this website is anonymous for us. We are not able to identify specific users with them. However, Facebook may archive and process it in such a way that a corresponding user profile can be linked to it, and use it for advertising purposes in compliance with Facebook’s Privacy Policy regarding personal data. This allows Facebook to display advertisements on its own platform as well as outside of Facebook. As the administrator of this website, we have no control over how this data is used.

IV. GOOGLE MAPS
This website uses Google Maps via an API interface. The use of Google Maps is necessary to remember your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The operator of this website has no influence on this data transmission process.

The use of Google Maps is intended to present our website offers in an attractive manner and to make it easier to find the locations listed. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6, sentence 1, letter f of the DPA.

V. APPLICATIONS AND ONLINE FORMS
Our website offers you various ways to get in touch with us. In addition to contact forms, we also use application forms for jobs and cooperation, as well as application or subscription forms for our newsletter. As part of the use of these surveys, it is usually necessary for you to provide us with your personal data. This data is only processed within the framework and for the purpose for which it was provided and with your express consent.

VI. NEWSLETTER
If you agree to receive our Newsletter at your email address, you can always revoke your consent by unsubscribing by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter.

VII. OUR FANPAGE
The Campus Bemke Foundation and Facebook are joint data administrators for users who have liked the Campus fanpage. Accordingly, the Campus Bemke Foundation, as administrator of the fanpage, can obtain anonymous statistical data on visitors to the page using a function provided by Facebook. This data is collected by means of cookies, each of which contains a unique user code (these are active for two years and stored by Facebook on the hard drive of the computer or any other medium of visitors to the fanpage).

The user code, which can be linked to the connection data of users registered on Facebook, is downloaded and processed when the fanpage is opened. Although this data is anonymous, the Campus Bemke Foundation may request Facebook to process it with regard to:

  • demographic data (including trends in age, gender, marital status and professional status),
  • lifestyle information and interests,
  • geographic data to determine where to run special promotions or events, how best to target their information offer.

At the same time, the data of people who have liked the fanpage of the Campus Bemke Foundation can be processed in a non-anonymised form in the case of:

  • Communication via Messenger available on Facebook,
  • Commenting on posts shared on the fanpage,
  • Participation in various promotional actions, competitions – in this case, processing will be carried out on the basis of the User’s unambiguous consent, in accordance with the rules of further actions.

In no case, the data of people who liked the fanpage will not be used for any other purpose than the one for which they were provided. Their processing will be carried out exclusively on Facebook and in accordance with the general rules of use of the portal.

VIII. AMENDMENTS TO THIS POLICY
We undertake to review this Privacy Policy regularly and to amend it when it becomes necessary or desirable due to: new legislation, new guidelines from authorities responsible for overseeing data protection processes, best practices in the area of data protection. We also reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy in the event of changes in the technology by which we process personal data (insofar as such change affects the wording of this document), or in the event of a change in the means, purposes or legal basis of our processing of personal data.
